WOCAN wants to create opportunities for our members to advance in their careers and maximize their success by providing SCHOLARSHIPS focused on training, development, higher education, and more.
Current Scholarships:
‘Attend a Conference’ Scholarships - WOCAN is excited to partner with APCO Holdings to announce the Automotive Conference Scholarship Program, where we’ll send select scholarship recipients to major conferences in the automotive industry. This program aims to empower and uplift our members by providing them with opportunities to develop their networks, gain targeted knowledge, and be inspired by the latest trends and innovations in the automotive sector. We believe that attending these conferences will foster creativity, collaboration, and professional growth, while also strengthening the bonds within our WOCAN community.
Scholarship Inclusions - Each scholarship covers the following expenses for the select conference, up to a maximum of $3000:
Conference registration fee - full entrance to the conference, providing the recipient with access to all sessions and activities
Airfare - Roundtrip airfare (economy) to and from the event
Airport transfer (e.g. Uber, Taxi, etc) - transportation from the airport to the conference
Hotel Accommodations: Accommodations for up to 3 nights at a hotel recommended by the conference organizers
Daily Stipend: A daily stipend of $75 per day to cover meals during the conference.

The WOCAN CONNECT Luncheon is our annual in-person event hosted at the National Association of Minority Automotive Dealers (NAMAD) Annual Membership Conference. Your ticket to the luncheon will also get you into the NAMAD event and allow you to connect and learn from some of the top people of color in automotive! -
