Let’s kick off the first Speaker Series of the year on Wednesday, January 20th, 2021 at 5:30pm PST/8:30pm EST with Patrice Banks, Founder and CEO of Girls Auto Clinic and founding member of WOCAN who will share her story through a keynote speech titled
“From auto airhead to shecanic”
Patrice Banks (see full bio) is opening up the male-dominated automotive industry, bringing a fresh perspective to the status quo. By telling her story, she continues to makes history, through engaging talks, interactive workshops, authoring an informative car care guide, and the successful running of Girls Auto Clinic.
Passionate about equality and empowerment of women, business leadership, innovation, technology and STEM education, Patrice promotes positive messages for female inclusion and empowerment in the auto industry through her #sheCANic movement. For more than 10 years as a prominent orator, Patrice has wowed crowds providing the perfect blend of energy, credibility, humor, grit, and a refreshing realness, to motivate audiences to action, beckoning them to break down barriers, find their purpose and achieve greatness.
Patrice Banks and Girls Auto Clinic have been recognized by numerous media outlets such as NPR’s Fresh Air with Terry Gross, Washington Post, TIME, Good Morning America, Glamour, Car & Driver just to name a few.
