COORDINATOR: MEMBER AND EVENTS

WOCAN is looking for a customer service professional who is organized and detailed to manage our members and events. This is a part-time position with remote work so you can work from home!

Mission 

Your mission as the Member and Events Coordinator is making members feel welcome and well-attended. You are a liaison between our organization and our members. You will serve as the first point of contact for membership related questions, organize events, and ensure member satisfaction. You are instrumental in maintaining our company and membership communications, maintaining our company records, and tracking our membership figures.

Your goals for 2021 are to increase membership and maximize member engagement.

Job Duties

  • Handle all questions, information requests, and complaints regarding membership.

  • Process membership applications, renewals, and resignations.

  • Maintain and update membership records.

  • Collect data, tracking membership statistics, and preparing reports.

  • Organize events and activities for existing and prospective members.

  • Coordinate with the accounting department to track membership revenue.

  • Assist with member communication activities.

  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to recruit new members.

  • Assist in preparing membership marketing materials.

Skills Preferred

  • Organized and detailed to a fault.

  • Must be able to work independently and manage several projects at once. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent customer service skills. 5 year experience in customer service is preferred.

  • Experience managing events and membership programs is preferred.

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.

This is a part time position working approximately 15 hours per week. Work is remote.

Pay is $15/hour.
